We are a small, family-run retreat in Strøksnes, by the beautiful Sørfolda fjord, surrounded by stunning mountains, sea, and Arctic wildlife. Our wish is to welcome guests and make them feel truly at home, creating meaningful stays that blend eco-tourism, relaxation, and a touch of marine science. From fishing trips and hiking to peaceful fjord safaris under the Midnight Sun or Northern Lights, every season here offers breathtaking views and lasting memories.

Join a single guided activity and discover the fjords and mountains of Sørfold through small-scale experiences. All tours are private and tailored to the season.
Fishing tour
Join a unique fishing adventure on the fjords with a local skipper and marine scientist. Fish for iconic species like Cod, Sei, Halibut and learn about the marine ecosystem. Measure your catch and contribute to simple citizen science while enjoying the thrill of the sea.

Included: Fuel**, safety jackets, fishing equipment and a light snack
What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, a wind/waterproof jacket, comfortable shoes
Tour type: Private (can be shared if all guests agree)
*Additional hours are charged at 1500 NOK per hour.**Fuel is included for trips up to 20 nm round trip, which has been tested to comfortably cover most spots around the fjord. Longer tour require an extended-range fuel supplement, agreed prior to departure.
Fjord safari
Explore the stunning fjords by boat. Enjoy the Midnight Sun in summer, Northern Lights in winter, and beautiful sunsets in spring and autumn while spotting wildlife such as white-tailed eagles, porpoises, and seabirds. If weather conditions permit, we will head to Rørstad, a historic coastal settlement accessible only by boat.
