Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Terramare fjord & Gård AS org. no. 936 317 677 MVA (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “guest”). By booking or participating in our accommodation, tours, or activities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings can be made via email, phone, or approved third-party platforms.
The person making the booking:
• confirms he/she is at least 18 years of age
• accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all participants
• is responsible for all payments and communication within the group
A booking becomes binding once booking confirmation has been sent by us.
All prices are stated in NOK unless otherwise specified.
Payment terms:
• Packages: a deposit is required to confirm the booking (50% total price at the time of booking). The remaining balance must be paid on-site at the end of the stay unless otherwise agreed in the quotation or booking confirmation. Additional Costs and Extras: Any additional services or costs not included in the agreed offer (e.g. additional activities, products from the farm etc.) are payable immediately upon confirmation via card or mobile payment
• Daily activities: payment must be completed prior to the start of each activity on-site via card or mobile payment methods including contactless solutions such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Vipps and similar
• Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the booking
We reserve the right to adjust prices in case of obvious errors or changes in taxes, fees, or third party costs.
All cancellations must be made in writing (email to terramarefjordgaard@gmail.com).
Packages cancellation terms:
- Up to 30 days before arrival: the amount paid will be 100% refunded (bank or transaction fees excluded)
- Between 30 days and 15 days before arrival: the deposit (50% of the total booking value) remains due and is non-refundable and retained as cancellation fee
- Less than 15 days before arrival: the full amount remains due and is non-refundable.
To offer flexibility to our guests, we allow one rescheduling of the stay within one calendar year from the original arrival date, subject to availability and without additional fees.
No-shows are charged 100%.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify any tour due to circumstances beyond our control or for safety reasons. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Minimum number of participants not reached
- Adverse weather or unsafe conditions
- Illness, injury, or unavailability of guides
- Operational or logistical issues
In such cases, guests will be offered either:
- a full refund, or
- an alternative date or comparable activity
We will always aim to provide suitable alternatives where possible.
We are not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, transport failures, or other unforeseeable events beyond our control.
In such cases, we will inform guests as soon as possible and may offer alternative arrangements where feasible. Depending on circumstances, refunds may not be guaranteed, and guests are advised to check their travel insurance coverage for such events.
Guests are responsible for:
- ensuring they are physically and mentally fit for activities
- informing us in advance of any relevant medical conditions, including allergies and other dietary requirements
- following all safety instructions given by guides or staff
We reserve the right to refuse participation if safety is compromised.
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
- activities may involve physical risk beyond normal holiday experiences
- weather and natural conditions can change rapidly
- participation is at your own responsibility
We are only liable for incidents caused by gross negligence on our part.
Guests agree to:
- respect property and facilities
- avoid damage or disturbance
- follow house rules provided on arrival
- acknowledge that the house is shared accommodation
Any damage caused by guests may be charged.
Any equipment provided (boats, kayaks, fishing gear, washing and laundry machine etc.) must be used responsibly.
Guests may be charged for:
- loss or damage due to misuse
- excessive or careless damage to equipment
Normal wear and tear is accepted.
Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend that all guests hold valid travel insurance covering:
- travel insurance
- cancellation insurance
- health/accident coverage suitable for outdoor activities
We collect and process personal data only as necessary to:
- manage bookings
- provide services
- comply with legal obligations
Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Any issues must be reported immediately during the stay or activity.
Written complaints must be submitted within 15 days after departure.
Failure to report issues in time may limit the right to compensation.
We are not responsible for:
- loss or theft of personal belongings
- injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions
events outside our control (force majeure)
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law.
Any disputes shall be handled in Norwegian courts (Salten District Court in Bodø, Norway).
